This widget is a dynamic tool for interactively exploring, organizing, filtering, and summarizing KPIs across datasets

Key features:

  • Dynamic Data Selection
    • Users can choose datasets and time periods (e.g., Actuals, Budgets, Plans) to populate the pivot table

  • Customizable Rows and Columns
    • Drag-and-drop functionality to arrange fields dynamically as rows and columns
    • Users can open the Field List settings to customize the visualization

  • Summarization Options
    • Provides summary functions like Sum, Average, Count, Max/Min for numerical data
    • The summary functions can be found right next to each value field, directly on the Pivot Table and the Field List settings.

  • Multi-Level Grouping
    • Supports hierarchical grouping (e.g., Region > Country > Product Segment) by drag-and-drop fields within the Field List settings

  • Filtering and Sorting
    • NOTE: The filter of the widget is based on the master filter of the SIMCEL app
    • Users can filter every field, such as the dataset, and sort rows and columns by value or alphabetical order.
    • The function can be reached through the filtering and sorting icon right next to each field, directly in the Pivot Table or the Field List settings

  • Drill-Down Capability
    • Users can expand summary values to view detailed underlying data.
    • The Drill-Down function will be accessible when there are at least 3 grouping fields
