Pivot Table

This widget is a dynamic tool for interactively exploring, organizing, filtering, and summarizing KPIs across datasets

To access this tool, click on β€œPivot Table” under the Tools section, on the left-side panel:

Key features:

  • Dynamic Data Selection
    • Users can choose datasets and time periods (e.g., Actuals, Budgets, Plans) to populate the pivot table

  • Customizable Rows and Columns
    • To access the Field List, click on the β€œFields” button on the right-side panel of the table
    • Notion image
    • Select and Drag-and-drop functionality to arrange fields dynamically as rows and columns

    • Users can open the Field List settings to customize the visualization

  • Summarization Options
    • Provides summary functions like Sum, Average, Count, Max/Min for numerical data

    • The summary functions can be found right next to each value field, directly on the Field List settings.
  • Multi-Level Grouping
    • Supports hierarchical grouping (e.g., Channel > Sub Channel) by drag-and-drop fields within the Field List settings

  • Filtering and Sorting
    • To access the Filter, click on the β€œFilters” button on the right-side panel of the table

    • Users can filter every field, such as the dataset, and columns by value or alphabetical order.

    • The Sort feature can be reached through the sorting icon right next to each field, directly in the Pivot Table

  • Drill-Down Capability
    • Users can expand summary values to view detailed underlying data.
    • The Drill-Down function will be accessible when there are at least 3 grouping fields

  • Save and Load Configurations
    • Allows saving of customized pivot table configurations for reuse
